2012 FOBISSEA Short Story Competition All students from year 3 and up can enter 37 participating schools The winner and two runners-up in each category will recieve trophies and have their stories published on the FOBISSEA website Entries must... have a TITLE be TYPED be DOUBLE-SPACED on one side of each page be in TIMES NEW ROMAN font PAGES must be NUMBERED NO illustrations or identifying marks to appear other than page numbers Entries MUST NOT EXCEED 600 words (Primary students) or 1000 words (Secondary students) Final word count MUST BE STATED A COVER PAGE must be included which lists: The TITLE of the submission The STUDENT's NAME The NAME of the SCHOOL The school telephone/fax number The email address of the teacher in charge ALL ENTRIES must: be in ENGLISH be ORIGINAL be UNPUBLISHED NOT be SUBMITTED anywhere else simultaneously STUDENTS MUST be currently attending a FOBISSEA school Good luck... this shortlist will be by judged by John Marsden the author of... 12 stories will make it to the final shortlist - 6 Primary & 6 Secondary
