Arthropoda
an invertebrate that has an exoskeleton, a segmented body, and jointed attachments called appendages.
Scientific name- Arthropoda
Major classes- Class Chelicerata, CLASS PYCNOGONIDA, CLASS INSECTA,  CLASS REMIPEDIA, CLASS CEPHALOCARIDA, CLASS MAXILLOPODA
The animals in this phylum move with legs (they usually have more than 2 legs)
arthropds obtain their food by catching prey and feeding on it
Most all arthropods reproduce sexually. Some species of insects are parthenogenetic. The female organism , under certain circumstances , can produce fertile offspring without mating. A complex developmental process is common in insects. This process is called metamorphosis.

They can hurt humans because spiders are venomous and lobsters can pinch you.
