What if?
What if America wouldn't have left veitnam and decided to just stick it out. How would history change?
My name is Alice smith, the year is 1973. I am 19, and the veitnam war is going on. I personally thought that enough blood had been shed and that it should be time for the troops to make their way back home. But what i think doesn't matter, they government seems to not care the the recruitment age has went down to 16. Kids are dying, these aren't grown men anymore, kids are dying. As well as the fact that the suicide rate has increase by 20% due to mothers having to part with their sons to a war that could easily could be stopped.
My name is Eric Chatman, the year is 1984. The county has just left the Veitnam war. And in a short teminalogy the country is in nothing short of turmoil. So many people have died. It's so bad the actually soliders are being killed by angry rioter. Most people thought that once they returned home they would have been welcome with open arms for seriving there country for so long even after there was so much hype of about the possiblity of them coming home 10 years ago. No. They were welcome by anger faces and remarried wives. It was so bad that there were radio aids and patitions that held intention of gettin the president impeached for leaving the troops in veitnam to be killed. Although it fell on deaf ears it was still and uprise in the country.
 My name is Shamear Jackson, the year is 2009. The current state of the country can be described as economic cushion. Meaning that the state of the country is pretty good. There was talk about 8 years ago about going to war with the middle east. But i don't think they had any real grounds for war.I personally feel like it was just over oil. But the cars are still rolling around. And the country is pretty much in a state of peace. However, i think the older people in the country have become slightly petty over time because everytime you even attempt to talk to an older person they make some reference to veitnam. There have been recent patition attempting to rise the recruitment age is 21 but one step at a time.
