Product development concepts are development-oriented, economical concept models based on the complete product development process including marketing and sales activities. 
Engineering design concepts are technically and functionally determined and emphasize on the constructional structure such a principal solution is an idealized representation (a scheme) of the structure of a system, that defines those characteristics of the system that are essential for its functioning

In industrial design concepts focus on experiencing, determining the identity and character of the object. These concept sdefine the aims of design processes, serving as a nucleus.
