When is the deadline to add/drop classes? How do I log onto Blackboard? How can I get a copy of my class schedule? How can I get my grades online? How will I know what classes to take to prepare for transfer to a 4-year college? Don't panic. Relax. Let's start with the first question. Running Start students have a different payment deadline than regular students. The deadline to pay fees and excess credit tuition is the first day of the quarter. For example, you register for Winter quarter 2012, during Fall quarter 2011, the payment deadline for fees and excess tuition is Jan 3rd 2011 which is the first day of Winter quarter 2012. You must complete all classes after the 10th day of the quarter (the same date as the last day to drop a class without a transcript entry) AND get at least a 2.0 GPA by the end of the quarter to meet the Running Start Student Adacemic Progress Policy! The deadline to pay fees and tuition for excess credit is the FIRST DAY of the quarter Tip: Pay for fees online 2 or 3 days BEFORE the deadline. The first day of each quarter is a hectic time for the college. Lines will be long and the computer systems may overload.
