A social network for teachers and students
Twiducate

Students will be motivated to use twiducate since it is similar to other social networks such as Facebook.

"Developed in 2009 by teachers for teachers"

As a teacher I know that some students are not comfortable speaking in class. If students have access to Twiducate they can particpate in classroom discussions while expanding their reading and writing skills.
Teachers and students can privately communicate. Students are invited to join the "class" when a teacher adds the student to the class list.
Twiducate is a useful tool for teachers. Teachers can post important dates, discussion questions and useful websites. Students can use twiducate to keep track of upcoming assignments.
In today's society students are required to have technology skills. Twiducate will help students learn about technology and blogging, a skill needed for their future!
Adding students to twiducate is easy.
Type in student names and twiducate will assign
each student a password. Students will be able to communicate with teachers and other students beyond the classroom.
Teachers can communicate with other teachers through blogging. Twiducate makes it easy to share ideas among other educators.
Teachers can add their favorite websites. It takes seconds to add to the page. Check out some of the websites I have uploaded to my Twiducate page!
Students will be given the opportunity to voice opinions, answer questions and contribute ideas. Twiducate is another way for students to participate in classroom discussions.
Students can post their messages on a "wall" for everyone to see.
