Our Discoveries We can never unlearn the knowledge we have gained from analyzing Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and it will stay with us forever. We were inspired by other's posts and comments, and we learned from their ideas. Our 'people skills' have improved in ways we could not have imagined. We can no longer accept things for what they appear to be, but we must look deeper into the meaning. A single story could be written for multiple audiences, and mean different things to each group. We can sometimes over-analyze literature, looking for something that is really not there. We liked having the ability to show our ideas to the world and get feedback on them to help us better understand the book. Before reading the annotations, we never thought that Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was more than just a story. We read between the lines and understood that the story could represent events and people in Alice's real life. We had the opportunity to make our own thoughts and opinions, instead of just believing what the teacher said. We learned that talking to other people, such as commenting on a classmate's blog, can spark your own ideas and thoughts to help you better understand things. Thank you for reading "Our Own Wonderland." We've had a great time posting for you, and we hope that you have enjoyed it as well, and learned some things along the way. -Mike N., Kristen K., Michael P., Caroline M., and Haley M.
