Will I fit here?
We're holdin' out for a hero willing to shoulder the burden of being responsible for the overall production of a team of Buyers. You build the team, you train the team, you lead the team. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: development and expansion of Woot's market presence.

And to do it, you'll have to wear more hats than the cast of Mad Men. You must be a coach. A motivator. An evaluator. An officer. A gentleman. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful results in building relationships, managing a growing purchasing team, and exceeding goals in a business-to-business environment. The Purchasing Manager reports directly to the Director of Purchasing, works closely with the Vendor Development staff, and will manage the Purchasing organization. If you can inspire your people to follow you through Hell, then inspiring them to follow you through CES should only be a little bit harder.

This position requires minimal travel to attend vendor meetings, trade shows, and other business development events. Don't get too excited: there aren't a lot of manufacturers based in Hawaii.
