1. Don't give out personal information

   - Real Name
   - Street Address
   - Phone Number
   - Share your passwords
   - Provide a photo (use an avatar)
3. Contact your parents whenever you feel
   unfortable about anything that happens
   online

   - To meet somewhere
   - Asks for a photo
   - Uses foul language or makes
     you feel unfortable
   - Sends you something
     to download

2. Minimize Harm

   - Gathering and expressing information should
     never harm or threaten anyone
   - Never use information from another person
     without proper citation and permission
1. Seek truth and express it

   - Always identify sources
   - Question the sources' motives
   - Avoid stereotyping by race, gender, age,
     religion, ethnicity, geography, sexual
     orientation, disability, physical appearance,
     and social status
   - Distinguish between opinion and fact when
     expressing ideas
3. Be Accountable

   - Admit mistakes and correct them promptly
   - Expose the unethical information practices
     of others
   - Clarify and explain information
4. Respect information and its infrastructure

   - Report any activities that could pottentially
     result in harm to the information infrastructure
   - Never undertake any action that has the potential
     to damage any part of this information infrastructure
   - Do not illegally hack into a computer system, create   
     or distribute viruses or other damaging software, 
     damage or alter hardware or software, or publish 
     information that you know is untrue and potentially
     harmful
