The Streetly School School Improvement Plan 2010-2011 To achieve redesignation as a Specialist Sports College To develop a culture of reward by harnessing the Olympic Values and our Specialism To develop student leadership opportunities across the curriculum by harnessing the power of the specialism To harness the power of the Olympic Values to support a skills based curriculum enhancement (PLTSs) To increase participation numbers in competitive sport To embed the use of SISRA online to identify trends in performance at all levels, and initiate appropriate response To raise achievement at KS3 To raise achievement in KS4 To review how progress data is reported to parents. To develop a culture of evidence based learning and teaching To develop and embed understanding and use of Assessment for Learning To develop and establish learner autonomy To develop Language for Learning across the whole school community To develop stretch and challenge in learning Increase the Leadership opportunities for students to extend their levels of responsibility and confidence Increase parental participation in the learning process within the school Promote responsibility and accountability to all levels of leadership and management by refining the performance management process Refine the processes that monitor standards in all departments by SLT and Heads of department. To enhance through leadership the employability and well being of all post 16 students. To ensure investment in 6th Form laptops impacts on levels of achievement To maximise the efficiency of an Elecronic Behaviour Tracking System (Sleuth) To maximise the impact of Frog (VLE) To maximize the impact of capital investment in Innovative Learning Spaces
