"any assessment for which the first priority in its design and practice is to serve the purpose of promoting pupil's learning" - Black and Wiliam Key Questions We Need To Be Asking What is the primary/purpose of assessment in your class/school? How do we "fit" AFL principles into our current system that demands percentages and grades? How can we include students more in the process of assessment? Vs FSA Exams University Entrance Late marks, zeros, and homework? How do we shift the focus from %, letters, #'s to descriptive feedback? How do we get students, parents, society on board?
