William Shakespeare
Born around April 26, 1564
Died April 23, 1616
Playwright, Poet, and Actor
It is not known exactly when Shakespeare began writing,
but contemporary allusions and records 
lays were on the London stage by 1592.[

Hamlet,
Romeo & Juliet,
Macbeth,
Midsummer Night's Dream ,
King Henry IV,
Twelfth Night,
Titus Andronicus,
and Julius Caesar
Some poems by Shakespeare include,
A Lover's Complaint,
The Passionate Pilgrim,
Venus and Adonis,
The Rape of Lucrece,
And The Phoenix and the Turtle.
Shakespeare was a respected poet and playwright in his own day,
but his reputation did not rise to its present heights until the nineteenth century.
In the twentieth century, his work was repeatedly adopted and rediscovered by new movements in scholarship and performance.
His plays remain highly popular today and are constantly studied, performed and reinterpreted in diverse cultural and political contexts throughout the world.
Many of Shakespeare's works are considered to be some of the best written in the english language.
