The Project Course: Spring 2013 December 4, 2012 Adam Brandenburger and Jessy Hsieh An Experiment in Real Time What kinds of questions? We will look for questions about entire systems individual organizations. We will look for new ways to ask existing questions. We will likely find completely new questions to ask. ---economic, political, social--- rather than about Wikimedia Commons The Project Course Design Principles 1. The course will be Pass/Fail. 2. We aim to create a distinct cohort experience. What does achieving our goals mean to us? Wikimedia Commons If we achieve our goals in the course, we will have: a. sharpened our ability to ask questions. b. refined the statements of some big questions of the day. c. identified new questions yet to be asked. We expect some challenges as well Together, we will have successes in the classroom. There are bound to be some failures too. Perhaps, we will decide they were "successful failures!" The Project Application Process The online application is available at http://community.stern.nyu.edu/TheProject To access the application, you will be prompted to log in with your Stern user name and password. If submitting an essay as your statement of interest, attach a file in the space provided. If submitting a video as your statement of interest, include a link to your video in the space provided.
