Growing Rock Crystals..
Ingredients
Food coloring(any chosen color will be fine)
Hypothesis
3 even cups of sugar

1cup of boiling water
What can i make when i heat sugar and water?...
When i mix and heat sugar and water i can create a solid candy with surrounding rock crystals.
Facts
This project will take about 2 days to sit and harden. you will need to place a paper towel over your cup of mixture so that nothing unsanitary gets in the project.

Directions
Take 1 cup of water and pour it into a pan. Then take your 3 even cups of sugar and put it  in the pan as well. After you have mixed the 2 ingredients , stir the 2 fixtures until it comes out to a clear thick syrup like liquid. You may put in the food coloring of your choice or you can just leave it clear either way is fine
Then after the mixture has came to a boil, pour the ingredient into 2-4 cups and place a pencil with a string on top of it. The string will be your candy stick that the crystals cling to. Place a paper towel over the cups and leave set for 2-3 days.
