Mrs Flowers, got into the book fair spirit!
Lots of people found great new books to buy.

Fall Book Fair
Author Visit
In the fall author
David Sargent Jr.
came to speak to our
PK through 2nd Graders.
He writes a variety of
childrens books based on his
pet dogs.  He brought several
of his dogs with him to show the students.
He even autographed
his books for the students
who purchased them.

Math and Reading
Fall Fun Night
In October we had our first
annual Fall Fun Night.
Almost 200 students came
with their parents, dressed in their Halloween costumes, to enjoy a variety of math and reading activites.
We even gave away close to 60 free books.

Christmas in the 
Media Center
Christmas is a special
time in our Media Center.
We have lots of activities
going on!
The Kindergarteners
came in for their 'sing-a-long'
to perform some
Christmas favorites!
Build-a-Bear, who is one of
our school's sponsors,
donated a few special reindeer
stuffed animals.  Four lucky students
who exhibited 'positive' behavior
were chosen in a drawing to take
these awesome toys home for Christmas!
Our school participates in
the Toys For Tots Drive every year.
The marines came to pick up all the
toys our students donated.
Star Lab
Students enjoyed going into
the star lab and looking
at the constellations
in the night sky.
