The myBROCKPORT system reached 7,304 users & implemented new features led by Community Development with help from the LDP, Campus Rec, Student Union & Activities, & International Education.
We hosted the Second Annual Tunnel of Oppression.
130+ faculty and staff members volunteered to serve as a mentor, committee member, or presenter for the Leadership Development Program, including representatives from almost every office in EMSA.
Successful and systematic collaboration among University Police, Residential Life/Learning Communities, Health and Counseling through the Liaison Program continued to strengthen our approach to supporting students and managing incidents.
Retention, Academic Advisement, &
Student Union & Activities collaborated in transforming the orientation for new transfer students:

Advised transfer students earlier than before
Oriented students in-person
Replaced SOAR with online orientation program

All aspects have earned positive feedback from participants!
The Division completely overhauled the Accepted Student Days for prospective students and their families, increasing overall attendance by 23%.
The SERC opened its doors on the Director’s Birthday, July 9, 2012, & we celebrated the SERC grand opening in style in collaboration with Homecoming 2012.
EMSA was recognized by Middle States for its comprehensive assessment efforts.

The Select Respect Task Force collaborated with numerous departments to host the inaugural Select Respect Symposium.
The College won the 2013 Ellucian Inspire Award for Constituent Service for the document imaging co-created by Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Advisement, &
Registration & Records.
