Los Angeles Community Action Network Final Project Report Los Angeles Community Action Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving human and civil rights in downtown Los Angeles. Before we arrived, the organization had many fragmented media elements and through the course of the semester we helped them develop a stronger, branded online presence by streamlining their social media components, creating an interactive map that visually outlines their political efforts, and editing a promotional video that demonstrates what LACAN stands for. Elevator Pitch LACAN The mission of the Los Angeles Community Action Network (LA CAN) is to help people dealing with poverty create & discover opportunities, while serving as a vehicle to ensure they have voice, power & opinion in the decisions that are directly affecting them.
