and opportunities Recruiting volunteers Grant programs for preservation training for volunteers I knew where all the museums are with Iroquoic collections We had more storage space Had a larger fund for conservation If members would work as a team More staff Better electronic database to check info on the history of the canal Recorded oral histories of workers on the canal Digital programming - equipment & web support Best practices for an audit committee Donations via estate planning We had a better way of posting job openings Assistance in organizing artifacts & displays database in which to store information Music about the canal that we can use without copyright Collections Resources People & Culture Fundraising & Grants Technology Promotion Board recruitment training We asked people from museums and heritage organizations all over New York to complete this sentence: We got an earful ? Pool of copyright-free resources - photos, images, etc. - for use in promotion The Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor and Museumwise would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who participated.
