The Escondido Union School District knows that educating a child for the 21st Century requires more than 'Riting 'Rithmetic Of course, those skills are still important... ...and relevant; but in a digital world, VISUAL and AUDITORY components need to be added to the package. That is where much of their reading, writing, and figuring will take place— whether we like it—or not. They, for sure, DO like it. EUSD has developed a nationwide reputation for being a leader in developing programs that prepare students for the world they'll live in. In a partnership with the students participate in the My Story program where academic learning is integrated with Drama and Digital Photography. In Project LIVE, EUSD teachers and students have been creating award-winning videos since 2003 Each video is tied to the California Content Standards. But they soon learn that problem solving and collaboration are very much a part of the process, too. is a classroom program that uses iPods in the classroom.
